Zones of Regulation is a series of lessons and an ongoing approach to fostering self-regulation and emotional control in pupils. We teach it to all pupils in Years 2-6 and incorporate elements of it into EYFS and Year 1 practice. Our approach to behaviour is not simply to manage children well; we aim to enable children to learn to behave in increasingly mature, self-controlled and positive ways. We see the development of great behaviour as part of our Curriculum.
