We teach art as part of our Topic cycle, ensuring learning in art is linked to the wider curriculum. Art is taught once a week by a specialist member of staff, supported by our current Artist in Residence. In addition to this, we run an annual Art Week. In art, children are taught to use a range of techniques and materials. We enrich the art curriculum through workshops and visits to  local and national  galleries, as well as study of artists and architects. 

Extended Music sessions are taught in a three weekly rolling cycle for each phase. The school uses the Music Express scheme to guide teaching. Each phase also has a weekly singing assembly. We sing songs that reinforce our values and Curriculum aims, with, songs for every happy and healthy school.

Both schools offer pupils the opportunity to learn a range of musical instruments, through private tuition in school, organised by the company Pelican Music. The PTA and school subsidises the cost of this for families in challenging financial circumstances, to ensure all pupils can participate if they wish.
